About

I am an assistant professor at the
University of Binghamton in Binghamton, NY. I specialize in "information hiding," a branch of cryptography.
Binghamton is 3-4 hours from NYC, and very, very quiet. Solitude is very important to me, so that's cool.
I hail from Illinois, where I went to nearby
NIU in DeKalb, and later the
College of New Jersey for my PhD. The theme graphic is just just a pureed photo of the Graduate dorm where I lived in my first year.
Things I do when I'm not working: play the concertina, carve limestone, and draw ambigrams.
